Fast Cover/Top Sheet Printing in Mailrooms
In the printing industry, high speeds and reliable operation of printing systems are of utmost importance. After the newspapers are produced, there is little time to prepare them for shipping.
Fast and reliable printers ensure that newspaper production can start a little later.
A later editorial deadline means the newspaper is more up-to-date. This makes it more interesting for readers and ultimately means better sales opportunities for the print product. Microplex printers such as the SOLID 45ET or logiJET TM8 have a lightning-fast print start for the first page. This ensures high throughput when printing covers (topsheet printing) for newspaper stacks. The robust technology with high reliability ensures reliable operation. Our SOLID 52A4 and SOLID 60A3 cut-sheet laser printers also integrate seamlessly into mailroom lines.
The intelligent Microplex controller optionally understands a wide variety of printer languages (e.g. PCL5, IGP/PGL, Lineprinter, etc.). Microplex printers are therefore ideally suited both for the new construction of shipping systems and for their retrofit as a replacement for obsolete printing technology.
Address Labels (Cheshire Labels) of Highest Quality
Microplex has the perfect printing solution for automated addressing of mail distribution pieces, newspapers, magazines or brochures.
Industrial printers from Microplex (e.g. the SOLID F40) are certified by Deutsche Post. This ensures that the printed information as well as the 2-dimensional Data Matrix barcode can be read and processed smoothly in the further dispatch process.
Even Microplex thermal printers such as the SOLID T4-2, SOLID T6 or SOLID T8 can be used for certified printing of address labels (Cheshire labels).
Multiple Configuration Options
The Microplex printers with their Multi Intelligence Controller have a wide range of configuration options. The printers can thus be individually adapted to the planned application.
More than 40 printer languages (emulations) can be selected and configured. In addition to feedback via SNMP and Status-Out, electrical signals can also be used to control and monitor the printers.
